What are Swarovski Pearls ?

With Swarovski pearls the coating is always perfect, they are always perfectly formed and the colour is always exactly the same. They are made with a crystal sphere for a base over which multiple layers of Swarovski’s unique coating are applied to give them a luminosity and lustre similar to that of real pearls. This coating gives a mother of pearl like appearance that is resistant to perfume, perspiration, electroplating, scratches and UV light, its also abrasion-proof and can be washed or dry cleaned. Because of the crystal at the centre of the pearl it weights roughly the same as a natural pearl and also adjusts to reflect the temperature of the wearer's skin like natural pearls.
